Line 7, which passes through Xiaoshan, will become a "fast track" connecting to the airport, making it convenient for Xiaoshan residents to take the metro to the airport.

At present, the metro lines under construction in Hangzhou include the northwest section and Phase II of Line 2, the south section of Line 4, Line 5, Line 6, as well as the regional rail transit Lin'an Line and Fuyang Line. The total length of metro lines under construction is 108 km, and the intercity line length is about 60 km. Among them, the lines under construction in Xiaoshan are Line 5 and Line 6, which are planned to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of 2019.
