On the morning of June 6, 2016, the BICES 2017 press conference, themed “Green Intelligence, Creating and Sharing the Future,” and the launch ceremony of the 4th BICES China International Creative Design Competition for Construction Machinery and Special Vehicles were grandly held in Beijing. The press conference was jointly organized by the China Construction Machinery Association, China Construction Machinery Complete Equipment Co., Ltd., and the Machinery Industry Sub-Council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, aiming to convey to all sectors of society the preparation progress of BICES 2017 and the outlook for China's construction machinery industry.


　　More than 150 attendees were present at the press conference, including Jing Xiaobo, Inspector of the Operation Monitoring and Coordination Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology; Xin Chenhua, Director of the Machinery Division of the Equipment Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology; Qi Jun, President of the China Construction Machinery Association; Su Zimeng, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Construction Machinery Association; Zhou Weidong, Vice President of the Machinery Industry Sub-Council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade; Qiao Jian, General Manager of Beijing Tianshi Huagong International Exhibition Co., Ltd.; as well as representatives from relevant associations, enterprises, and media.

　 　　Exhibition preparation status: After full deliberation by the organizers, the 14th China (Beijing) International Exhibition and Technical Exchange of Construction Machinery, Building Material Machinery and Mining Machinery is scheduled to be held on September 20-23, 2017 at the New China International Exhibition Center, and will concurrently hold the 4th China International Commercial Vehicle Expo, the 4th China International Emergency Rescue Equipment Exhibition, the BICES Construction Machinery Modeling and Appearance Quality Evaluation, and the 4th BICES China International Creative Design Competition for Construction Machinery and Special Vehicles, among other series of industry exhibitions and activities. The convening of this press conference also officially opened the curtain on the preparation for BICES 2017.

　　This will be another grand gathering of China's construction machinery industry, and it is also the responsibility shouldered by the organizers and hosts of the exhibition. Taking BICES 2017 as a new starting point, based on the long-standing trust everyone has placed in BICES and the meticulous work of the operating team, we will work together with colleagues who have long followed, trusted, and supported BICES and devoted themselves to the construction machinery industry to push BICES to a new height.

　　Highlights of the exhibition: In order to successfully host BICES 2017 and provide better services for the expansion of product chains and the extension of value chains of construction machinery manufacturers, the organizers and hosts will focus on the following four aspects: First, further refine and enrich the exhibition content; second, pay more attention to the organization of professional visitors; third, pay more attention to the degree of internationalization; fourth, pay more attention to exhibition services and connotation.

　　While improving ourselves, we are also actively thinking, earnestly summarizing, listening to suggestions from all parties and actively improving. From the perspective of exhibitors and starting from the visitor experience, we will improve the quality of exhibition services, and enhance the BICES exhibition experience and cultural connotation with better services and more efficient operations. This is specifically reflected in the following five points: 1. Improve exhibition conditions; 2. Optimize service processes; 3. Improve on-site management; 4. Improve transportation and accommodation conditions; 5. Focus on the cultural development of the construction machinery industry.

　　The BICES exhibition has already become a well-known domestic brand exhibition with large scale and strong influence, and will surely become an international premium exhibition, showcasing the level of Chinese manufacturing and the advanced and forward-looking nature of technology to the world. He expressed warm congratulations on the launch of the fourth preparation work for the "China International Emergency Rescue Equipment Exhibition" co-hosted with the China Construction Machinery Association, and expressed gratitude for the important role the construction machinery industry has played in national emergency management work and in successive national rescue and disaster relief efforts.

　　Finally, Qi Jun, President of the China Construction Machinery Association, introduced the development of previous competitions on behalf of the organizing committee, and together with other attending leaders unveiled the competition and announced the official launch of the "4th BICES China International Creative Design Competition for Construction Machinery and Special Vehicles."
