On the 5th, reporters learned from the highway department that the Liangjiadu Bridge reconstruction and expansion project has seen good progress across all works, with pile foundations fully completed; 12 pier columns completed, accounting for 67% of the total; 34 precast beams completed, accounting for 45% of the total; and 24 beams erected, accounting for 32% of the total.

It is understood that all works have now fully met or exceeded the construction schedule requirements issued by the owner. Next, the Liangjiadu Bridge reconstruction and expansion project will face more unfavorable factors, including construction during the high-temperature season, work at height, cross-operation, and construction during high water levels in the flood season. The project management department will carefully prepare the construction plan, reverse the schedule, make reasonable arrangements, and focus on implementation, with substructure and box girder precasting and installation as the breakthrough priorities, to fully set off a construction climax and work together to ensure that the Liangjiadu Bridge opens to traffic before the Spring Festival next year.
