Recently, the AP1 section of the Anding Expressway, constructed by the First Engineering Co., Ltd. of China Railway 23rd Bureau Group, successfully completed the paving of the ATB asphalt macadam test section.

　　The upper base test section was selected at K162+100 to K162+400 on the left side, with a length of 300m. At 2:00 PM, under the unified command of the on-site construction manager, the rear eight-wheel dump trucks slowly discharged the asphalt mixture into the feeding hopper, and the paver evenly paved forward along the road surface; the double-drum roller followed behind for orderly compaction; the surveyors closely monitored the site, meticulously controlling elevation, thickness, and cross slope; the testing personnel, according to the inspection frequency, carefully conducted sample spot checks, mixture temperature tests, compaction degree inspections, and mix proportion verifications; the supervising engineer strictly controlled the quality of the front and back stages in accordance with construction specifications; other on-site personnel performed their duties according to the division of labor. After more than 4 hours of continuous operation, the paving of the first 300-meter ATB asphalt macadam upper base test section was declared successfully completed.

　　Before the commencement of the ATB asphalt macadam upper base test section, the technical director of the project department studied and formulated a practical special technical plan for pollution-free asphalt pavement construction, which was submitted to the supervisor and the owner for approval, enrichment, and perfection one by one. Several seminars were convened with the participating personnel. Through illustrated lectures, construction technical briefings were conducted level by level, with fixed posts and responsibilities, ensuring that everyone knew and should know. Under the premise of ensuring that management measures, technical follow-up, construction personnel, mechanical equipment, safety control, on-site management, and all preparatory work were in place without any mistakes, the site was clean and tidy, and truly met the conditions for pollution-free asphalt pavement construction, the prelude to the ATB asphalt macadam upper base construction was timely opened.
