On June 2, in Zhoushan, Zhejiang, at the construction site of Section B of the Fuchimen Bridge located in Yandun, Cengang, Dinghai District, workers were unloading steel casings used for the main pier construction. With the lowering of the steel casings, the Fuchimen Bridge will begin underwater pile foundation construction for its main piers. The Fuchimen Bridge project in the Zhoushan Archipelago New Area is an important component of Zhoushan's northbound major corridor, with a total route length of about 2.01 kilometers and a total investment of 1.62 billion yuan. The project started on February 21 this year, with a construction period of 36 months.
