It is understood that in order to accelerate the advancement of urban underground utility tunnel construction across the province, the Shandong Provincial Department of Finance and the Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, based on the review opinions of an expert panel on projects declared by 12 prefecture-level cities and 1 county-level city in the province, and according to factors such as planned completion length, arranged a total of 300 million yuan to provide funding subsidies for urban underground utility tunnel construction projects implemented in 9 prefecture-level cities including Zibo and Ju County. The Zibo underground utility tunnel construction project received 1,554 yuan in provincial urbanization construction funds. Zibo will fully leverage the guiding, demonstrative, and leveraging roles of fiscal funds, guide financial, enterprise, and social capital to invest in urban underground utility tunnel construction, broaden funding channels for utility tunnel construction, and vigorously promote the healthy development of urban underground utility tunnels in Zibo.
