The confined capsule-type expanded-body anchor technology is a new geotechnical anchoring technology with internationally leading standards introduced in recent years by Zhejiang Kunde Innovative Geotechnical Engineering Co., Ltd. It was independently developed by MCC Building Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "MCC") and Jingye Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., and has been successfully applied in multiple cities across China. As an important partner of MCC in the Yangtze River Delta region, Kunde Innovative Geotechnical Engineering Co., Ltd. has actively promoted this technology, especially carrying out extensive work to promote it at its home base—Ningbo. The company has successively organized on-site tests of this technology in the Ningbo area, invited authoritative experts for on-site observation, and successfully passed the construction science and technology achievement review organized by the Ningbo Municipal Construction Commission. In early 2016, the company formally cooperated with a well-known local real estate developer—Rong'an Real Estate—adopting the confined capsule-type expanded-body anchor technology as an anti-floating anchoring measure in its development plots 22#-A and 22#-B at the west side of Xinghai Road and south side of Ke'er Road, Taoyuan Street, Ninghai County, Ningbo. 　　The project has completed the preliminary test phase and entered the formal construction phase. Test results show that the bearing capacity and displacement tests fully meet the specification requirements. Meanwhile, using this technology to replace the originally designed hand-dug piles has saved site space, reduced labor and material input, reduced the outward transport of spoil, simplified the process while ensuring quality, and saved a large amount of funds for the owner, receiving high praise from the owner. The formal implementation of this project represents the official implementation of this technology in the Ningbo area under the active promotion of Kunde Innovative Geotechnical Engineering Co., Ltd., providing a case and laying a foundation for its large-scale application in Ningbo.
