Recently, the pouring of the pile foundation of Pier 522-2 of the Xuhong River Grand Bridge, a controlling project of the Xuyan Railway undertaken by China Railway 15th Bureau Group No.1 Engineering Co., Ltd. of China Railway Construction Corporation, was successfully completed.

The (100+200+100) m continuous girder of the Xuhong River Grand Bridge is a difficult section of the Xuyan Railway. The pile foundation of Pier 522-2 currently under construction is located on the left bank of the Xusha River. Earlier, construction progress was slow due to untimely concrete supply. To ensure the milestone schedule, the project department organized carefully and arranged reasonably to create conditions for construction. First, dedicated personnel were assigned to coordinate with the concrete company, strengthening coordination efforts; second, equipment and manpower input was increased, fully motivating participating employees to work overtime and enhancing overall construction efficiency; third, technical and safety briefings were well implemented to ensure construction safety and project quality.

The successful pouring of the first pile foundation of this pier has laid a solid foundation for advancing the construction of the (100+200+100) m continuous girder.
