Traveling through six hundred years of time and space, the West dims while the East shines. At this moment, China, in the period of the 13th Five-Year Plan, illuminates the industrial construction soil of the world. In the East, the Chinese people are driving steel machines for their city's future and happy life, achieving the "Knight Legion" named XCMG crawler cranes.



      In the spring and summer of 2016, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Transport of China jointly issued the "Three-Year Action Plan for Major Transportation Infrastructure Construction," stating that from 2016 to 2018, 303 key railway, highway, waterway, airport, and urban rail transit projects are planned to be advanced, involving a total investment of about 4.7 trillion yuan, with rail transit investment accounting for 76.6%.

     The "Plan" announced the number of urban rail transit investment projects in the next three years as 51/33/19 respectively, with newly started mileage of 1274/695/416 kilometers, involving investments of 909.8/480.4/257.6 billion yuan. During the "12th Five-Year Plan" period, China's urban rail transit investment reached 1.16 trillion yuan; this year's investment accounts for 78% of the total investment of the previous five years, and the urban rail transit industry will accelerate its development.

      Up to now, the state has approved urban rail transit construction plans for 40 cities, with a total planned mileage of about 8,500 kilometers. In 2015, 3,300 kilometers of projects were under construction, with an investment of about 300 billion yuan completed, and 24 cities across the country have opened about 3,300 kilometers of lines. During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, (urban rail transit) is expected to reach 6,000 kilometers, with the final long-term plan exceeding 7,000 kilometers.

      The "Exclusive Knights" of Urban Rail Hoisting

      The signal is already very clear: China's urban rail construction will usher in a large-scale start!

      Ancient Western knights have always been "long weapons, shining armor" and "brave and skilled in battle, invincible." Facing the massive urban rail construction projects, full preparation is necessary.      1. XCMG Crawler Crane "Light Knight Legion"

      55 tons - 85 tons: XGC55, XGC75, XGC85

    The combat tactics of the "Light Knight Legion" are flexible and varied, advancing and interweaving. XCMG XGC series small-tonnage crawler crane products have unique advantages such as self-erecting A-frame, one-key switching between main and auxiliary hooks, and universal jibs for series products. They are mainly responsible for hoisting and handling steel bars, light reinforcement cages, steel supports, small equipment, and other items at urban rail construction sites. They are also the "vanguard" of urban rail construction sites, and the title of "Light Knight" among the four knight legions is well deserved.

     2. XCMG Crawler Crane "Lance Knight Legion"

     100 tons - 180 tons: XGC100, XGC130, XGC150, XGC180

     "With lance in hand, lifting a thousand catties," the lance knights are always the backbone of the knight legion. The "Lance Knights" among the four knight legions are XCMG XGC series crawler crane products from 100 tons to 180 tons. XCMG's technical engineers have equipped them with a "good lance," increasing the lifting capacity of medium-long booms by more than 20%, enabling them to fully handle the hoisting of super-high and super-heavy diaphragm wall reinforcement cages at urban rail construction sites.

     3. XCMG Crawler Crane "Heavy Knight Legion"

     260 tons - 300 tons: XGC260, XGC300

     The "Heavy Knights" in heavy armor are always the core force for defeating the enemy and winning, undertaking core tasks. Shield machine hoisting in urban rail construction can be said to be the key of keys. For this, XCMG has dispatched the "Heavy Knights" of the four knight legions—XGC260 and XGC300—to take on this重任. To be able to shoulder great responsibilities, they must have "secret weapons." The "secret weapons" of XGC260 and XGC300 are their industry-leading single-machine shield hoisting technology, which transforms the previous two-machine lifting of shield machines into one machine achieving turning, hoisting, and positioning, increasing work efficiency by 40% and reducing operating costs by 30%.

     4. XCMG Crawler Crane "Ranger Knight Legion"

     25 tons - 100 tons telescopic boom: XGC25T, XGC55T, XGC75T, XGC100T

     Among the four knight legions, the XCMG XGC series telescopic boom crawler cranes, titled "Ranger Knights," are a "surprise force." "Surprise forces" are used in "surprise places." XCMG telescopic boom crawler cranes combine the advantages of crawler cranes' lifting and traveling, strong off-road capability, and truck cranes' flexible boom length changes, making muddy work sites, narrow work spaces, and steep off-road surfaces all places where the "Ranger Knights" can be used.
