　　To further accelerate the transformation of achievements such as new technologies, new processes, new materials, and new equipment in the field of foundation engineering, promote energy conservation and emission reduction in the construction sector, and drive industry technological progress, with the support of the Science and Technology Development Promotion Center of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Tianjin Construction Science and Technology Development Promotion Center, the Foundation Engineering Technology Innovation (Sub-) Alliance of the China BIM Development Alliance, together with the Architectural Society of China, the Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering Branch of the China Civil Engineering Society, the Building Structure Magazine, the Engineering Investigation Magazine, and the Foundation Engineering Magazine, has scheduled the “First On-site Observation and Exhibition of New Technology Development and Application in Foundation Engineering Series” to be held from May 27 to 29, 2016, at the Tianshi International University Town in Wuqing, Tianjin.
　　This on-site observation meeting will focus on displaying new technologies, new processes, new materials, new equipment, etc., gathering academicians and experts, leaders of relevant provincial and municipal housing and urban-rural development departments (construction committees), relevant industry associations, and management and technical personnel from survey units, design units, research institutes, universities, and construction enterprises, to offer suggestions for the current industry status and development in China!
