Building on a foundation where quality and technical levels have already reached first-class standards, it garnered multiple awards and certifications, including the China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award and the Jiangsu Provincial Machinery Industry Science and Technology Progress Award.
　　Among them, the China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award is the highest industry award for scientific and technological progress in the national machinery industry, jointly established by the China Machinery Industry Federation and the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, and approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China. XCMG Foundation stood out among many high-quality projects and won the first prize of the 2015 China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award for its project “Key Technologies and Industrialization of Large Intelligent Trenchless Directional Drilling Rigs”.

　　XCMG Rotary Drilling Rigs Achieve Multi-Unit Seabed Trenching for the First Time
　　In the offshore construction in Putian, Fujian, the seabed trenching depth ranges from 18 to 25 meters below sea level, with a trench width of 16 meters and a length of 600 meters. The seabed geology is complex with high rock hardness, yet the construction of the China Communications kV power station project proceeded methodically. 　　This is a project where multiple XCMG XR280D rotary drilling rigs were deployed for construction. It is also the first time XCMG rotary drilling rigs have performed multi-unit seabed trenching, marking a breakthrough in applying XCMG drilling rigs to port construction with milestone significance. XCMG Foundation customized a high-efficiency solution for this project, utilizing the product's superior stability, adopting a single-row rope main winch structure and a parallelogram hinge mechanism to achieve large-scale offshore construction. With efficient construction performance, it won unanimous recognition from users, adding a significant chapter to XCMG rotary drilling rigs' comprehensive construction capabilities.
　　XCMG's First XSZ800Ⅱ Deep Well Drilling Rig Supports National Defense Construction
　　Beyond offshore construction, XCMG Foundation's first military product, also XCMG's first XSZ800Ⅱ deep well drilling rig, was successfully delivered to a certain unit of the PLA stationed in Xuzhou, achieving a zero breakthrough in equipping the military with Foundation Company products. This drilling rig is a short-tower XSZ800Ⅱ deep well drilling rig customized according to the special needs of the military. The entire machine adopts an all-wheel-drive off-road chassis, which is more suitable for mountainous road conditions and ensures rapid entry and rapid task completion. 　　Through this first cooperation, the military unit highly recognized XCMG products and the on-site operation, maintenance training, and after-sales services provided by the company, laying a good foundation for further cooperation on XCMG tunnel roadheaders, raise boring machines, rock drilling jumbos, and other products.
　　XCMG Air DTH Hammer Rotary Drilling Rig Battles at Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong
　　In the construction of the Sha Tin to Central Link Victoria Harbour section of the Hong Kong Metro, the strata are hard and complex, with a designed pile diameter of 813mm, rock penetration of 20 meters, and maximum bedrock hardness exceeding 100MPa. The construction is difficult and intense, once again challenging the saying that “rotary drilling rigs cannot work in Hong Kong”. 　　Despite the harsh construction background, XCMG, as the only domestic rotary drilling rig brand to enter Hong Kong's high-end market, through the intensive construction of three XCMG XR series air DTH hammer rotary drilling rigs, completed high-intensity operations with an average drilling depth of 6 to 8 meters per hour, achieving construction efficiency 3 to 5 times that of traditional rotary drilling rigs, ending the history that rotary drilling rigs could not work in Hong Kong.
