Recently, in accordance with the unified arrangement of the Hebei Provincial Key Project Commencement Meeting, 150 projects in Handan City, each with an investment of over 100 million yuan, have commenced construction, sounding the clarion call for a new round of project development and transformation in the city.
Gao Hongzhi, Secretary of the Handan Municipal Party Committee, attended the event at the site of the Xinxing Energy Equipment Industrial Park project in Jinan New Area and reported on the commencement of key projects in Handan via video to the main venue in Hebei Province. Wang Huiyong, Mayor of Handan; Cui Yongbin, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee; Peng Xuezeng, Director of the Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee; Feng Liansheng, Chairman of the Municipal CPPCC; and other leaders of the four major municipal bodies attended the event in 20 groups across counties (cities, districts), Jinan New Area, and Handan Economic and Technological Development Zone.
It is understood that, in addition to the projects in Jinan New Area, the projects commencing this time include: Huifengyuan Large-scale Intelligent Amusement Equipment Manufacturing in Guantao County; Robot Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park in Quzhou County; Dingshun Logistics Park in Fengfeng Mining District; High-tech Industrial Park in Linzhang County; Aojie Garments in Jize County; Ruima Biotechnology Dietary Fiber in Qiu County; Gezhouba Circular Economy Industrial Park in Guangping County; Taiwan-funded Industrial Park (Phase II) in Wei County; Northern Valve Entrepreneurship Incubation Base in Cheng'an County; Anyuan New Energy 20 MW Photovoltaic Power Generation in Wu'an City; Fuxin New Materials in Fuxing District; Nongmeng Technology Demonstration Park in Congtai District; Tianxiong Food in Daming County; Shuguang Green Building Industrialization in Handan County; Zhonggao Huanneng Environmental Protection Equipment in She County; Jintian Sunshine Small Commodities City in Feixiang County; Fangyuan High-speed Rail and Subway Accessories in Yongnian County; New Oriental Times Square in Handan Economic and Technological Development Zone; Handan Customs Supervision Zone in Hanshan District; and others.
It is reported that all commenced projects are valued at over 100 million yuan and mainly exhibit three prominent features: First, the scale continues to increase. The 150 projects have a total investment of 133.7 billion yuan, with an average investment scale of 890 million yuan. There is one project with a single investment exceeding 10 billion yuan, five projects exceeding 5 billion yuan, and 40 projects exceeding 1 billion yuan. Second, the structure continues to optimize. Among the 150 projects, there are no projects that violate industrial policies by adding steel or iron capacity, glass manufacturing, or high-energy-consumption and high-pollution projects. Among them, there are 133 industrial projects with a total investment of 118.2 billion yuan. Third, the benefits are gradually improving. The annual planned investment is 31.15 billion yuan; after completion and operation, they can achieve an output value of 140 billion yuan, profits of 12.5 billion yuan, taxes of 8.2 billion yuan, and directly create employment for 76,000 people.
