On February 14, the Dongying Municipal Highway Administration confirmed a total of 14 key projects for 2016, with a planned total investment of 2,794.86 million yuan.

      Continuing projects: the Jidong Expressway, with an estimated investment of about 2.35 billion yuan, is planned to receive 580 million yuan in 2016 and be completed within the year. Phase II of the S323 Weigao Line relocation project (Guangrao section) has a planned total investment of 256.77 million yuan, with 86 million yuan planned for 2016, and is to be completed within the year.

      New projects: the S231 Hexin Line new construction project from Gubin Intersection in Hekou District to Xujiaqiao section in Lijin County, with a total investment of 486 million yuan and 205 million yuan planned for 2016; the S316 Yongshen Line new construction project from Lijin Yellow River Bridge to Dagaijia section, with a total investment of 340 million yuan and 200 million yuan planned for 2016; the S320 Dongqing Line major repair project from the North Outer Ring Intersection to Tianzhuang section (Dong'er Road pavement reconstruction project), with an estimated total investment of 360 million yuan, to be completed within the year; the S231 Hexin Line major repair project from Dongzheng Intersection in Dongying District to Le'an Overpass in Guangrao, with a total investment of 307.54 million yuan and 210 million yuan planned for 2016; the S231 Hexin Line intermediate repair project from Yanglanhe Bridge in Hekou District to Lijin Zhihe section, with a total investment of 84.91 million yuan, to be completed within the year; and the G220 Dongzheng Line major and intermediate repair project from Zhanqiao Seawall to Lijin Huangjia Intersection, with a total investment of 480 million yuan. Among these, the Nan'er Road (from Dongba Road to Xisi Road section) pavement reconstruction project, with an investment of 240 million yuan, is to be completed within the year; the S310 Dongbin Line intermediate repair project from Lijin Xiaoguangzi to Chenzhuang section, with an estimated total investment of 26.18 million yuan, is to be completed within the year; and the safety risk section improvement and upgrading projects on the G220 Dongzheng Line, S315 Yongguan Line, S228 Xinbo Line, S230 Dongqing Line, S231 Hexin Line, S312 Bingu Line, S316 Yongshen Line, and S323 Weigao Line, with a total investment of 44.23 million yuan, are all to be completed within the year.

      Preliminary projects: the coastal high-grade highway project (G228 Dandong Line Dongying section and G228 Dandong Line Dongying Yellow River Bridge section), with a route length of 140.5 km and an estimated cost of 9.7 billion yuan, is planned to complete the approval of the feasibility study report in 2016; the S319 Guangqing Line reconstruction project from Guangrao Guangbei to the Dongying-Binzhou boundary section, with a route length of 30 km and an estimated cost of 700 million yuan, is planned to complete all preliminary procedures and be ready for construction in 2016; the S231 Hexin Line new construction project for the Guangrao bypass section, with a route length of 15 km and an estimated cost of 500 million yuan, is planned to complete all preliminary procedures and be ready for construction in 2016; and the S310 Dongbin Line new construction project for the Lijin bypass section, with a route length of 16 km and an estimated cost of 470 million yuan, is planned to complete all preliminary procedures and be ready for construction in 2016.
