Recently, the Hunan Provincial Department of Finance and the Hunan Provincial Development and Reform Commission jointly issued a document — the "Notice on Clarifying Projects of the Central Special Fund for Strategic Emerging Industry Development (Regional Agglomeration Development Pilot Subsidy Fund)" (Xiang Cai Qi Han [2015] No. 32). The project "Key Technologies and Industrialization of Complete-Set Technological Equipment for Special Underground Engineering" applied for by Sunward was approved for 6.9 million yuan in special fund support. 　　In 2015, the National Development and Reform Commission officially approved the pilot plan for the regional agglomeration development of the Changsha intelligent complete-set equipment industry, making Changsha one of the pilot regions for the regional agglomeration development of central strategic emerging industries. The main goal of the regional agglomeration development of the Changsha intelligent complete-set equipment industry is to achieve key breakthroughs in fields such as high-precision sensors, high-end hydraulic, pneumatic and sealing components, unattended monitoring systems based on cloud monitoring technology, and intelligent flexible construction technology, further strengthening the advantages of intelligent system integration technology.

　　At present, China still basically lacks intelligent complete-set technological equipment for underground engineering development under complex geological conditions. The project "Key Technologies and Industrialization of Complete-Set Technological Equipment for Special Underground Engineering" applied for by Sunward aims to develop and industrialize intelligent complete-set technological equipment for special underground engineering, applicable to rapid construction of urban underground space, excavation of national defense caverns, efficient and low-consumption rock penetration for large-diameter deep foundations, and island-reef foundation construction.

The implementation of this project will help build a strong domestic brand with independent intellectual property rights and core technologies in the field of underground engineering equipment, form complete intelligent complete-set technological equipment for special underground engineering, and promote the transformation of the enterprise from an underground engineering equipment manufacturer into a supplier of complete-set technological equipment for underground engineering and underground engineering construction solutions.
