At 4 p.m. on January 14, accompanied by the sound of firecrackers, trial construction of subgrade pipe piles officially began at Yingshang North Station of the Shangqiu-Hefei-Hangzhou Railway Project of China Railway Airport Port Group.

The subgrade foundation of Yingshang North Station is reinforced with prestressed pipe piles. The prestressed concrete pipe piles are PHC-AB-400(95) prestressed high-strength concrete pipe piles, with concrete grade C80, pile diameter 400 mm, pile lengths of 20, 23 and 28 m, and spacing of 2.0-2.2 m (a few piles have a spacing of 1.4 m), arranged in a square layout, totaling 514,800 m. The purpose of the pipe pile trial construction is to obtain construction parameters that meet quality requirements for large-scale commencement, verify design indicators, check on-site geological conditions and other technical indicators, and lay the foundation for the full-scale commencement of the subgrade station of the Shangqiu-Hefei-Hangzhou project. Yingshang North Station is constructed by the Third Branch of the Pre-station Section 8 Project Department of the Shangqiu-Hefei-Hangzhou Railway of China Railway Airport Port Group. The project is a newly built subgrade, with a main line length of 2.195 km, including 345,800 m? of fill and cut, 59,610 m? of concrete, 514,800 m of reinforced concrete pipe piles, 10 culverts totaling 265.02 linear meters, 5,124 m? of cantilever retaining walls, and 2.3 km of main line access roads.
