On January 15, it was learned from the NDRC that the NDRC has approved the construction of a new Beijing-Bazhou railway, with a total project investment of 27.43 billion yuan.
The total project investment is 27.43 billion yuan, including 26.63 billion yuan in engineering investment and 800 million yuan for the purchase of EMUs.
Source of funds: Capital accounts for 50% of the total investment. Of this, Beijing Municipality will bear approximately 4.88 billion yuan in land acquisition and demolition costs for the section within its jurisdiction, and Hebei Province will contribute 4.165 billion yuan (including land acquisition and demolition costs for the section within its jurisdiction and part of the engineering costs) and will be responsible for the land acquisition and demolition work in its respective section. In accordance with relevant national and local government regulations, the land acquisition and demolition costs shall, after recognition by all shareholders, be included in the respective provincial shareholdings in the project; the remaining 4.67 billion yuan will be contributed by China Railway Corporation using the Railway Development Fund. Funds beyond the capital will be raised through domestic bank loans.
