Shenzhen is one of China's four first-tier cities. As an important urban node in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, the Nanyou Building records the history of reform and opening up. The renovated Nanyou Building is positioned as a large-scale building complex—a super Grade-A office building integrating commercial and office functions—and will present a 325-meter-high twin-tower skyscraper. Currently, a fleet of XCMG rotary drilling rigs is supporting this highly significant project.
Because the building is 325 meters tall, the requirements for the pile foundation are very high. Four XCMG rotary drilling rigs are currently working on site, including the XR360, XRS1050, XR400D, and XR460D, covering most of XCMG's large-tonnage rotary drilling rig models. The XRS1050, XR400D, and XR460D all feature a large triangular structure, ensuring construction stability and providing superior rock-penetration capability. They can meet the construction requirements of a hole depth of 73 meters, rock penetration of 8 to 9 meters, and a hole diameter of about 1.8 meters, overcoming complex geological conditions and receiving unanimous praise from the project department.
