By the end of the "12th Five-Year Plan" period, the total number of museums nationwide had reached 4,510, with 2,500 museums and memorial halls open free of charge. As important venues for collecting, preserving, researching, and displaying cultural relics and artworks, museums provide services for the dissemination of cultural and artistic information and for cultural exchanges at home and abroad. Museums have now become a symbol of comprehensive soft power in the development of countries and regions.

Based on the global strategy for digital museum development and to exchange views on the trends of informatization, intelligentization, and creative development in China's museum industry, the 2016 China Museum Operation Technology Innovation Development Forum, hosted by Lnoppen (Noppen Group), was held from January 7 to 8, 2016, at the Hilton Shanghai. As a grand event for museum technology exchange, museum owners and various suppliers from home and abroad gathered in Shanghai, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Rijksmuseum, the Palace Museum in Beijing, the National Palace Museum in Taipei, the Shanghai Museum, the Gansu Provincial Museum, the Museum of the Mausoleum of the Nanyue King, the Guangdong Museum, the Inner Mongolia Museum, and the Muxin Art Museum, to share and exchange professional technologies involved in museum construction and operation and to explore the best market partners.

Google Cultural Institute, the Delta projector brand Vivitek, and Hanwell, an expert in museum environmental monitoring, and other top international brands exhibited their new products and technologies on site. EPC, as the general agent in China for UK-based Hanwell products, together with its exclusive domestic partner Guangzhou Xinyuan, attended the summit with the Hanwell museum environmental monitoring system and a series of sensors.

The UK brand Hanwell has focused on the field of museum environmental monitoring for 25 years and enjoys widespread reputation in many large and famous museums at home and abroad. It has cooperative clients among more than 6,000 international museums, including the British Museum, the V&A Museum, the Louvre in France, the Hong Kong Museum of History, the National Museum of China, the Shanghai History Museum, the Museum of the Mausoleum of the Nanyue King, and the Quanzhou Maritime Museum. It provides widely used environmental monitoring, surveillance, and data acquisition systems. Most products use wireless technology and can support the output signals of almost all types of commercial sensors. Suitable for environmental protection in museums, they can be quickly installed with minimal damage to museum structures.

At the forum, the Hanwell ML4000 series data logging sensors and radio transmitting sensors were highlighted, positioned as the most flexible environmental monitoring devices currently on the market. Each sensor features a wide range of temperature/humidity and light/UV probes to provide customers with the most accurate and reliable monitoring system.

In addition, Hanwell's multi-site integrated monitoring solution is widely favored by industry users for its typical advantages such as convenience, comprehensiveness, and strong compatibility. Measurement parameters widely cover humidity, dust, pests, wood, energy, etc. Combined with the comprehensive Synergy analysis software, it can display the specific activity locations of all connected sensors. With complete interactive data curve data collection and floor plan layout, it provides users with advanced analysis methods to distinguish historical data, as well as functions such as automatic generation of alarm reports and other thoughtful multi-angle function designs, providing users with all-round solutions for "any need, any time, any place."

There are also Hanwell series product solutions for pest control, dust removal, light and UV monitoring, humidification and dehumidification, etc. If you would like to learn more about related products or conference information, please contact EPC Instrument Equipment China Co., Ltd.
