At the end of 2015, construction began on sewage treatment plants and supporting pipeline network projects in four townships of Yongding District, Zhangjiajie—Fushi, Longtan, Hukeng, and Gaotou. The projects will improve environmental protection, enhance the living environment, and benefit local residents.
It is reported that the four sewage treatment plants and supporting pipeline network projects launched this time in Yongding District will be built through the PPP model, with a total investment of 60.83 million yuan. The scope includes the construction of four new treatment plants and the laying of 19.1 kilometers of pipeline network. They are scheduled to be completed and put into operation in 2016.
To advance the project construction, Yongding District has established an SPV company for the integrated township sewage treatment plant and network projects. The project company is jointly established by the winning social capital and the government investor representative, with an equity ratio of 80% (social capital) to 20%.
