For a time, more and more customers have been increasingly calling for domestic manufacturers to produce a professional anchor drilling rig suitable for Chinese geological operations. 　　At the end of 2009, the Yutong Heavy Industry project team began market research on anchor drilling rigs and went to Germany for technical investigation. In the first half of 2010, they entered the intense product research and design stage. In just half a year, Yutong Heavy Industry's anchor drilling rig was successfully developed and trial-produced, and smoothly passed the national type inspection. What is even more commendable is that the first batch of products was highly recognized by the military and successfully achieved batch supply to the troops. 　　During the research and development period, Yutong Heavy Industry's anchor drilling rig utilized foreign technology, fully combined with the actual conditions of domestic geological layers, and strictly followed domestic standards to strengthen the structure and improve components according to market demand. Key parts such as the hydraulic system and motor system all use self-made components. In terms of product structure, hydraulic working principle, power head combination style, construction process methods, etc., it has a leading position in China. As soon as its first anchor drilling rig, the YTA620, was launched on the market, it received widespread praise and deep customer recognition. Nearly 20 anchor drilling rigs were successfully sold to Beijing, Xi'an, Changsha, Xuzhou, Chengdu, and other places.
　　In 2012, based on the good market response of the YTA620 anchor drilling rig, the project team extensively absorbed customer feedback and launched the YTA820 anchor drilling rig. The YTA820 anchor drilling rig can be optionally equipped with a dual power head configuration. Through the bidirectional rotation of the inner and outer rods (one forward and one reverse) and the hydraulic impact or air impact of the inner rod, it achieves rapid drilling in hard rock layers, can effectively drill 200 meters in soft soil layers, and can drill into weakly weathered rock layers, making it very suitable for deep hole construction in hard rock. Moreover, the power head of the YTA820 has added a thread compensation mechanism, making it convenient and quick to replace drill rods, reducing operational difficulty, while protecting the drill rod threads, avoiding severe impact on the hydraulic system when replacing drill rods, and effectively extending the service life of the drill rods. In addition, the YTA820 has stronger power, higher hole-forming efficiency, stronger site adaptability, and more flexible and convenient operation. It has more outstanding superior performance in strengthening section strength, improving support effects, and improving construction efficiency. At the 2013 Yutong Heavy Industry Changsha Anchor Drilling Rig Product Promotion Conference, as soon as the YTA820 was launched, it was deeply loved by customers and has cumulatively sold more than 20 units (excluding military data).
