The Xiangshan Wind Power Project, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan, recently broke ground in Xunwu County.

It is understood that the wind farm is located within Xiangshan Township and Jitan Town, with the site area extending from Xiangshan Zeng in the south to Bijia Mountain in the north. With a total installed capacity of 108 megawatts, it will install 54 wind turbines with a unit capacity of 2 megawatts each, generating an annual on-grid electricity output of 241 million megawatt-hours. Once completed, compared with advanced coal-fired units, the project can save approximately 77,000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 205,000 tons annually, delivering significant economic, social, and ecological benefits.
