According to reports, on the afternoon of December 9, relevant officials and experts from the Hunan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Central and Southern Regional Administration of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, and the Guangzhou Air Force Command gathered in Suxian District, Chenzhou City, to review the pre-feasibility study report, flight procedure plan, and site selection report for the Feitianshan General Aviation Airport project in Chenzhou City. The participants unanimously agreed that developing civil aviation not only complies with national policies but also meets the needs of industrial integration, and that, in terms of meteorological conditions, surrounding environment, and other aspects, the construction of Feitianshan General Aviation Airport is feasible.
According to the introduction, Chenzhou Feitianshan General Aviation Airport is located in Xiaohetang Village, Qiaokou Town, Suxian District, with a land area of about 220 mu and a total investment of 148 million yuan. The airport is mainly used for flight activities such as aviation training, aviation tourism, aviation sports, and commuter flights, and can also provide services for emergency rescue and general aviation operation flights, capable of meeting the flight needs of Class A, Class B, and Class H aircraft. The project owner of Feitianshan General Aviation Airport is Hunan Xiangchen General Aviation Co., Ltd., which obtained the notice of approval for the preparation and establishment of a general aviation enterprise from the Central and Southern Regional Administration of the Civil Aviation Administration of China in April this year.
Xie Chengxiang, chairman of Hunan Xiangchen General Aviation Co., Ltd., said that after the completion of Feitianshan General Aviation Airport, Chenzhou will form a three-dimensional transportation network of land and air, which can effectively promote local economic development and enhance the city's image.
