At around 8:30 p.m. the previous evening, Mr. Lin, having finished dinner, decided to go out for a stroll. When passing by a construction site under construction, out of curiosity, Mr. Lin entered the site.

However, while walking along a small path, Mr. Lin accidentally fell into a foundation pit. No matter how Mr. Lin called for help, no one came to assist, and Mr. Lin also found that his leg was in severe pain and he was completely unable to move. After gradually calming down, Mr. Lin quickly called the police for help.

After receiving the alarm, the Jiangdu fire department immediately rushed to the scene. Rescuers found that Mr. Lin was at a construction site near the old Jiangdu cement plant, and the foundation pit was about 6 meters deep, while the small path beside it was only 60 to 70 centimeters wide, barely enough for one person to walk on, making the rescue work very tricky.

After on-site inspection, the firefighters decided to use a ladder to go down into the foundation pit. Two firefighters carried a medical stretcher, placed Mr. Lin on the stretcher, and lifted him up. The rescuers above immediately caught the stretcher, and everyone slowly moved the stretcher upward. After more than 20 minutes, Mr. Lin was successfully rescued and then sent to a nearby hospital for treatment. After examination, Mr. Lin had a fracture in his right leg.
