Recently, PHC pipe pile construction began on the D ramp of the Hefei-Wuhu project. Pipe piles are an important method for treating soft soil foundations. The designed specification of the pipe piles is A400 (95), with a diameter of 400 mm and a wall thickness of 95 mm; each pile is designed to be 31-37 meters long. The total pipe pile quantity along the entire line is 550,000 linear meters.

　　The pipe piles are constructed using the static pressing method, with static pile drivers as the construction machinery; the pipe piles are connected by welding the pile end plates, and during construction the main controls are the verticality of the pile body and the welding quality. In view of the unique nature of pipe pile construction, during the construction process the project department continuously summarized construction experience and the composition of construction unit prices, providing basic data for the company's future construction and market development.
