According to information learned in mid-October, the centralized groundbreaking ceremony for Guizhou Province's third batch of major projects (PPP projects) in 2015 and Liupanshui City's 338 projects in the fourth quarter of 2015 was recently held at the Liupanshui LNG Plant project site. The Liupanshui LNG Plant project of Southwest Energy & Mineral Natural Gas Energy Investment was also among the projects included in the centralized groundbreaking. Relevant leaders of Liupanshui City and relevant leaders of Southwest Energy & Mineral Group and Southwest Energy & Mineral Natural Gas Energy Investment Co. attended the ceremony. It is understood that the Liupanshui LNG Plant is located in Luobie Township, Liuzhi Special District. Relying on the favorable conditions of abundant coalbed methane resources within Liupanshui City and the China-Myanmar natural gas trunk line, the project develops the LNG industry. The project adopts internationally advanced and mature clean production processes, and upon completion it will achieve a daily production capacity of 1 million cubic meters of liquefied natural gas. After the project is put into operation, at full-load production, it can achieve annual sales revenue of 1.257 billion yuan and annual business tax of 145 million yuan. The sales market for liquefied natural gas products can cover Liupanshui City, Anshun City, Guiyang City, Qianxinan Prefecture, Qiannan Prefecture, Qiandongnan Prefecture and other places within Guizhou Province, and can effectively make up for the insufficient construction of branch pipeline networks in the province.
