At 7:00 on October 6, the concrete pouring for the pile cap of the first continuous beam of the extra-large bridge over the Hunchun-Ulanhot Expressway on the Changchun-Baicheng Railway Capacity Expansion and Renovation Project, undertaken by China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau Group, was successfully completed, laying a solid foundation for the next stage of construction.
The extra-large bridge over the Hunchun-Ulanhot Expressway on the Changchun-Baicheng Railway Capacity Expansion and Renovation Project has a total investment of 220 million yuan, with a starting and ending chainage of DK208+162.32-DK214+562.00 and a total length of 6,399.68 meters. It is a key control project of the entire line. The bridge has a total of 5 continuous beam spans, of which the largest continuous beam is 60m+100m+60m. The design calls for 1,776 pile foundations and a total of 192 piers and abutments, with the tallest pier at 17 meters. Upon completion, the Changchun-Baicheng Railway Capacity Expansion and Renovation Project will be a national Class I double-track electrified railway with a design speed of 200 kilometers per hour.
The No. 110 pile cap of the continuous beam over the Hunchun-Ulanhot Expressway has dimensions of 12.5m×9.1m×2.5m, and the additional cap has dimensions of 10.3m×5.6m×1.5m. The total concrete volume is 368 cubic meters, with 19.6 tons of steel reinforcement, making it a mass concrete pour. To ensure the safe and high-quality completion of the concrete pouring, Xu Jian, deputy commander of the Northeast Command of the Group and concurrently project manager, personally led the technical personnel in making scientific and meticulous arrangements in aspects such as formulation of the construction plan, concrete supply, rational dispatch of machinery and equipment, emergency safeguard measures, arrangement of construction personnel, and logistics support. All participating personnel overcame difficulties such as narrow construction access roads, tight construction schedules, and high safety risk coefficients. During the pouring process, full-time safety officers, dispatchers, and quality inspection personnel stood on-site to ensure that the entire pouring operation was continuous and standardized, ensuring that construction safety and quality were orderly and controllable.
At present, the project department is organizing personnel to carry out steel reinforcement binding for the No. 109 pile cap of the main pier of the No. 5 continuous beam of the extra-large bridge over the Hunchun-Ulanhot Expressway, and the concrete pouring operation for this pile cap is expected to be completed before the end of this month.
