24日，记者从北京市基础设施投资有限公司（简称京投公司）获悉，专门服务于本市轨道交通建设发展的北京基石基金昨天揭牌，这也是全国首只城市轨道交通装备制造产业专业化投资基金。该基金总体规模15亿元人民币，预计可带动500亿元轨道交通相关产品、服务市场份额。
据京投公司介绍，随着本市轨道交通网络的不断延伸，对轨道交通相关的软硬件集成、信号系统、装备制造等技术、设备的先进性、安全性都提出了更高的要求。
基石基金将重点投资于轨道交通装备制造等战略性新兴产业领域，特别是其中处于快速成长期的自主创新企业，致力于整合资源打造轨道交通装备制造等产业的龙头企业。
据了解，京投公司在未来五年内，将代表政府完成2500亿元的轨道交通投资任务。
