5月5日，被称为北京“地下三环”的地铁10号线全线贯通，成为世界最长全地下站点地铁线路;而北京首条A型地铁线路———14号线西段也于当天开始试运行。这两条在北京具有标志性意义地铁线路车辆，均为“北车制造”。至此，中国北车长客股份公司已累计向北京提供了超过3000辆的城轨车辆。
贯通后的10号线，成为继地铁2号线之后北京又一条环线地铁，中国北车长客股份公司已累计投入84列、504辆车应对10号线的密集客流。14号线上北京市首次采用A型地铁车辆，该列车为4动2拖6辆编组，载客定员达到2580人，单列车运力较以往北京采用的B型地铁车增加30%。长客股份按照CRH380系列动车组的管理方式和质量标准生产其承接的38列北京地铁14号线车辆。
