2013年初步安排城区基础设施工程投资2.65亿元，用于城区绿化、景观建设、文化氛围营造、城市道路、给排水管网、美化亮化、供气、污水处理、垃圾处理等基础设施建设。城区绿化工程于4月15日开工建设，目前正在进行迎宾馆周边、前进路、西区的绿化工作，其他工程将陆续展开。
