日前，江都公路部门在沿江高等级公路夹江大桥防撞墩体桩基施工前，成功利用“水鬼”打捞河床上的落石，为钻孔灌注桩的顺利钻进赢得了宝贵时间。

　　此前，该桥下游江中19座防撞墩体桩基钻进施工时多次遇到石块，造成桩基难以钻进，进度缓慢。江都公路部门对该区域河床的地质资料进行认真研究后，分析河床落石多为河流飘石和抛石，决定采取在桩基施工前组织专业潜水员潜入水下河床，打捞完落石后再施工的方法，为桩基的顺利钻进赢得了宝贵的时间。据悉，此项工艺在扬州桥梁施工史上的运用尚属首次。
