刚果(金)水资源和电力部长布鲁诺·卡潘吉·卡拉拉当天在巴黎主持一个大因加水电工程建设研讨会。会议结束后，卡拉拉对记者说，会议主要讨论了项目开发商选拔、项目技术及资金保障等问题。
参加会议的有出资方代表、投标公司代表以及技术、财政和法律顾问等。参与投标的中方企业代表向新华社记者表示，中国企业将积极参与大因加水电工程等刚果(金)水电项目建设。
因加水电站位于刚果河下游的下刚果省境内，发电潜能约4400万千瓦。目前，刚政府仅开发了因加1期和2期，两期发电能力为170万千瓦。正在计划中的开发项目有因加3期和大因加电站。
资料显示，规划中的因加3期所需建设资金约70亿美元，大因加电站需500亿美元。因加3期于2011年8月举行了公开招标，目前结果尚未公布。
