公司一季度收入大幅增加主要是由于重组子公司收入并表所致。2013年3月21日，公司以15.67元/股的价格发行1.51亿股，向中建股份、中建一局、中建二局、中建三局、中建四局、中建五局、中建六局及中建八局购买中建商混100%股权、天津新纪元100%股权及山东建泽55%股权。由于中建商混部分产能处于南部地区，相比新疆的产能来说，一季度的开工率更高，因此公司一季度毛利率为4.12%，同比要高一些。
整合结束后实现全国布局，成为国内混凝土行业龙头公司。整合结束后西部建设成为中国建筑股份有限公司在商品混凝土业务领域的上市平台和资本运作平台,中建总公司将支持西部建设做大做强主营业务。当前公司混凝土总产量达到2000万方，实现全国布局，成为国内混凝土行业的龙头公司。
