SX30双轮铣采用赫格隆CA210马达驱动，铣头与架体连接，通过钢丝绳与起吊滑轮跟主机卷扬机相连，主机采用SG60机型，同时配备双油管绞盘、泄油管绞盘、压缩空气管绞盘、保压油箱，铣头在油缸的作用下能前后摆动，架体上有纠偏油缸，能保证铣出槽段的垂直度，铣头铣削切除的岩屑通过气举由吸渣管排出。
