近日，中国建筑工程总公司所属中建八局承建的嘉应歌剧院综合体工程举行动工仪式。
嘉应歌剧院是梅州客家文化产业基地首个项目，占地96亩，计划投资6.8亿元。工程设计为三角钢琴造型，充分融合客家文化元素，是集观众厅、多功能厅、环形艺术展廊于一体的2000座大型歌剧院，是继国家大剧院之后的我国第二大歌剧院。
