On the "May Day" International Labor Day, a holiday dedicated to hard-working laborers, the Project Department of Section 2 of the G314 Oytak-Bulungkou Highway Project of China Railway Airport Construction Group First Company carried out multiple cultural and sports activities during the "May Day" holiday. All construction personnel of the Aobu Project remained at their posts, striving hard for the project's construction and production. In order to let all employees enjoy a happy and joyful holiday, relieve pressure and fatigue, and cultivate their spirits, the Aobu Project organized and carried out multiple cultural and sports activities during the "May Day" period.

On the afternoon of April 30, the Aobu Command organized a friendly basketball match in Oytak Town among eight construction and supervision units along the entire Aobu Highway, the Gaizi Border Inspection Station, and the Oytak Town Government. The project actively responded to the command's call to hold a basketball match and selected seven basketball players to participate. Although the day of the match was windy and dusty, with dust flying in the air, overcast weather, and occasional raindrops mixed with yellow earth, it did not affect the players' high spirits on the court at all. On the court, the project players constantly changed tactics and worked together. Everyone sped swiftly across the court, passed and caught the ball accurately, made long-range shots lightly and flexibly, and jumped high for rebounds and dunks. Everyone looked extremely handsome, making the spectators' emotions surge with the movement of the basketball, and the audience's cheers and applause rose and fell one after another.

On May 1, in the afternoon, entertainment activities such as table tennis and Chinese chess were organized at the project department's residence, and the entire project department was in a happy and relaxed atmosphere. In the table tennis competition, the players were eager to try, competing with each other and showing their personal style. They moved and changed positions to find the opponent's weaknesses. Rapidly spinning curve balls, powerful smashes, and thrilling edge balls, along with personal skillful moves, greatly delighted the employees watching. At the same time, a Chinese chess competition was held in the meeting room. Both sides tried every means to gain the upper hand, being extremely careful with every move and giving the opponent no room to maneuver. Both sides refused to yield an inch, sticking to a stalemate and exhausting every effort. Due to weather conditions, the badminton match and tug-of-war competition could not be held. After the competitions, the project department distributed rich prizes to the participants.

On the evening of May 1, the project department organized a dinner for employees, and each work area also held dinners at the same time, allowing employees to relax both physically and mentally. On the evening of April 30, a refreshing timely rain washed away dozens of days of dust cleanly, giving people a fresh feeling. Although the strong wind continued, the blue sky, white clouds, the towering Kongur Snow Peaks, and the rushing Gaizi River together brought holiday blessings to all construction personnel of the project.

Through the "May Day" cultural and sports activities and employee dinners, the employees relaxed their moods and felt the warmth and care of the project department as a big family. Everyone became closer, enhanced friendship, and lifted their spirits.
