Site News: On New Year's Day, early in the morning, Peng Yueli, Executive Deputy Manager of the Chengdu-Guiyang Railway Project Department of China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) 15th Bureau Group, led department heads from the project department on a special inspection of key and difficult works, and held on-site discussions to resolve various difficulties encountered during construction.

At the construction site, the inspection team carefully studied and discussed issues found on site and reported by construction personnel. For issues that could be decided on the spot, decisions were made immediately; for some complex issues, specific resolution timelines and overall approaches were agreed upon. At the construction site of the Dafang Tunnel (exit), the inspection team discussed with on-site construction management and technical personnel issues including the construction of jet grouting piles in the open-cut section, selection of the spoil ground, specific construction plans, planned construction schedule, and allocation of personnel and equipment. Consensus was reached on relevant issues, and plans and measures for resolving the problems were formulated.

It is reported that in order to accelerate construction progress and successfully complete the output value targets and work tasks of each stage, the builders of this project have sacrificed every holiday and Sunday since entering the site, working from dawn to dusk and braving wind and rain, laying the foundation for the early opening of the Chengdu-Guiyang Railway through their hard work.
On the way to the construction site, the reporter said: "Right now, many people are on the road traveling, while we are on the road to the construction site..." "Our group doesn't even need to mention holidays; we can't even keep track of which day of the week it is every day. We just know to bury our heads in work all day long. We are making contributions to the people..." said Executive Deputy Manager Peng Yueli somewhat jokingly.

The newly built Chengdu-Guiyang Railway, Leshan-Guiyang section, starts from Leshan City in Sichuan Province in the west and ends at Guiyang City in the east, with a main line length of 515.02 km.
