Staff told the reporter that recently, when municipal workers were inspecting road safety hazards across the city, they discovered this road excavation construction. "No road excavation permit has been obtained from the housing and construction department, and the construction unit has been ordered to stop work," said the staff member.        According to staff from the Putian Municipal Engineering Maintenance Office and the Urban Management Law Enforcement Bureau, according to regulations, road excavation construction requires registration and filing with the housing and construction department and the traffic police department, and construction can only proceed after obtaining a road excavation permit and a road traffic safety permit. At the same time, during construction, public notice signs must be erected on site, clearly stating the construction project, construction unit, contracting unit, etc., and all permits must be kept at the construction site to facilitate public supervision and inspection by law enforcement departments.
