According to the latest reports, the 2014 dangerous bridge reconstruction project on Provincial Highway 336 in Rugao City has completed more than 80% of the total workload. This dangerous bridge reconstruction project involves three bridge sections, namely Zhouwei Bridge, Sanwei Bridge and Jijiawei Bridge.

The project involves an investment of 4.8 million yuan, with the winning construction unit and the highway department jointly advancing the bridge reconstruction. Among them, Zhouwei Bridge and Sanwei Bridge are 10m wide, and the bridges are to be completely demolished and rebuilt. The reconstruction standards for the two bridges are: superstructure of 10+16+10m, pretensioned prestressed hollow slabs; substructure of pile-column piers and abutments with bored pile foundations; and Class I highway loading. Jijiawei Bridge is 10m wide, and the bridge is to be completely demolished and rebuilt. The reconstruction standard is: superstructure of 13m×3, pretensioned prestressed hollow slabs; substructure of pile-column piers and abutments with bored pile foundations; and Class I highway loading.
