On November 14, the first pile foundation works — retaining pile WZ1289# at Central Park West Station and retaining pile ZZ1057# in the foundation pit of the Central Park West Station–Yuelai Station section, both constructed by the Sixth Company of China Railway No.5 Bureau — successfully passed acceptance, marking the start of construction at Central Park West Station.
The first pile foundation works were accepted by a joint acceptance team composed of seven units: the supervision, design and survey parties, China Railway Chongqing Metro Investment Company, Chongqing Rail Transit Company, and the Chongqing Quality Supervision Station. The team checked in detail the survey records, raw material inspection reports, process control records and other relevant documents and records, and carried out on-site process verification of rebar cage fabrication and other procedures one by one against construction specifications. The team unanimously approved the first pile foundation works of Chongqing Metro Line 10.
The retaining structure at Central Park West Station takes the form of bored cast-in-place piles plus internal bracing. The retaining piles are formed by mechanical rotary drilling, with a diameter of 1.0 m and a length of 24.76–28.6 m; the design strength of the pile concrete is C30. For the Central Park West Station–Yuelai Station section, the retaining structure also takes the form of bored cast-in-place piles plus internal bracing. The retaining piles are formed by mechanical rotary drilling, with a diameter of 1.0 m and a length of 14.624–17.752 m; the design strength of the pile concrete is C30.
Since entering the site, the Sixth Company and the project department undertaking the construction have earnestly implemented and refined all basic work, strengthened full-process safety, quality and process control, and strictly controlled the acceptance of incoming materials, ensuring safe and orderly progress of construction.
