On the 29th, the construction of the Shenyang Yingbin Road Viaduct launched the pouring of the first cast-in-place girder, a key milestone marking the official start of the main superstructure construction of the Yingbin Road Viaduct.

The substructure of the entire Yingbin Road Viaduct consists of bored cast-in-place piles and vase-shaped pier columns. The superstructure includes: a cast-in-place prestressed reinforced concrete continuous box girder section of the swallow-style (feiyan) type, a precast prestressed concrete box continuous girder section, and a steel box girder section; these three structural forms make up the entire bridge. Once completed, the Yingbin Road Viaduct will form a rapid, multi-level transportation system with six lanes in each direction on the bridge and eight lanes in each direction at ground level (four lanes in some sections).

To shorten the construction period, the overall project is divided into two construction sections carried out simultaneously. Since July this year, the project has entered the preliminary stage of main construction, while completing the bridge pile foundations, pile caps, and pier columns. The plan is to complete the bridge foundation work for the entire metro crossing section in November. Next year, the main work will be the installation and pouring of reinforced concrete bridge decks on the piers, with all work expected to be completed by October next year, ready for traffic.

Before the end of this year, construction of part of the bridge superstructure foundation will also be carried out, with concrete pouring in two stages; the second pour is expected to take place on November 3.
