On October 28, it was learned from the Fushun Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau that, effective immediately, the Bureau's Inspection Detachment has launched a special concentrated rectification campaign targeting prestressed concrete pipe pile manufacturers within its jurisdiction and the use of substandard pipe pile products at construction sites. The inspection covers major pipe pile items such as end plate thickness, rebar diameter, and pipe pile stress bending moment.

As a key component in foundation engineering, the quality of prestressed concrete pipe pile products directly affects whether a building is stable. If pipe pile quality is substandard—for example, exposed rebar on inner and outer surfaces, easy cracking of the pile body during driving, poor durability of the pile foundation, inward displacement of prestressing steel bars, uneven prestress distribution, or reduced bending strength of the pile body—such problems may all lead to building collapse.

Through this special inspection, the municipal quality supervision department will promptly identify substandard products, handle substandard pipe pile products produced by manufacturers in accordance with the law, notify the relevant competent authorities to handle units using substandard pipe pile products, and prevent substandard pipe pile products from entering the market and projects, thereby ensuring the safety of newly built buildings.
