Yesterday, the reporter learned from relevant departments that the reconstruction project of the S256 Wenji to Liushi Pu section, known as the southwest outer ring of Fucheng, is progressing smoothly. It is expected that by the end of next year, the main construction of the project will be fully completed.

Expected to complete the main project of the entire line by the end of next year
It is understood that the reconstruction project of the S256 Wenji to Liushi Pu section starts from the G105 line near Yangdian, Wenji Town, Yingquan District. The route goes south, intersects with the S102 line on the west side of Xihu Town, crosses the Fuxin Expressway at Wangzhai, then heads southeast, passes through Fengyuzhuang and Yuzhuang, then turns east, intersects with the S102 line near Wudazhuang, crosses the Beijing-Kowloon Railway at Zhaopeng, passes under the Jiguang Expressway at Gaocaiyuan, passes under the under-construction Fuliou Railway at Yaowan, and ends at Liushi Pu Town, Yingshang County, connecting with the Liunan Road of the G105 line.
The project has a total length of 67.135 kilometers and is constructed to the standard of a two-way four-lane first-class highway, with a design speed of 80 km/h, a subgrade width of 24.5 meters, an asphalt pavement width of 21 meters, and a central green belt of 2 meters. Because it passes through towns such as Wenji, Xihu, Chaiji, Xutang, Zhuzhai, and Liushi Pu, it is called the southwest outer ring of Fucheng. The estimated total investment is 2.36 billion yuan.
Li Qi, deputy director of the project office for the S256 Wenji to Liushi Pu section, stated that the project is large in scale and high in standards, and is also the largest single investment in transportation infrastructure construction in the history of our city. Up to now, 300 million yuan of project investment has been completed. It is expected that by the end of next year, the main construction of the entire project is expected to be completed.
Project implementation is of great significance to our city
The construction of the S256 Wenji to Liushi Pu section project is of great significance and far-reaching impact on our city.
Wang Zhuangfei, deputy director of the project office, introduced that the project intersects with G105, S102, Fuxin Expressway, S202, Beijing-Kowloon Railway, Jiguang Expressway, Fuliou Railway, etc., forming the main transportation framework of our city and even the northern Anhui region.
At the same time, the project is laid out along the outer edge of the city's long-term urban planning area, taking into account the functions of the city's west ring and south ring. It not only expands the framework for urban development, but also fully considers the reasonable organization of future highway traffic and urban traffic, which is conducive to giving full play to the leading role of infrastructure construction projects in urban development.
In addition, as a skeleton highway and new construction project in the Fuyang urban area, the project passes through many towns such as Wenji, Xihu, Chaiji, Tianji, Xutang, Zhuzhai, and Liushi Pu, with strong traffic demand, which will inevitably drive the rapid development of towns along the route and accelerate the process of regional economic integration.
70% of the 32 bridge projects have started
The reporter learned that the reconstruction project of the S256 Wenji to Liushi Pu section has a total of 32 bridge projects.
Among them, there are three extra-large bridge construction projects with a length of more than 1,000 meters: the Fuxin Expressway Overpass Bridge, the Quanhe River Overpass Bridge, and the Beijing-Kowloon Railway Overpass Bridge. After completion, they will be the three longest bridges in our city. The first two are constructed by the project office, and the latter by the railway department.
"The Fuxin Expressway Overpass Bridge is 1,086 meters long, and the suspended part of the main span alone is 80 meters," introduced Liu Jialiang, deputy project manager of the 02 bid section of the S256 Wenji to Liushi Pu reconstruction project. This bridge will be constructed while the Fuxin Expressway is in operation. Pile foundation construction is currently underway, and more than 90 of the 144 reinforcement cages have been deeply buried underground.
At the same time, according to Li Qi, deputy director of the project office for the S256 Wenji to Liushi Pu section, since the start of construction at the end of April this year, there has been a lot of rainy weather. The pavement construction along the route is still in the subgrade stage, but the bridge construction has been working overtime. Currently, 70% of the 32 bridge projects along the route have started.
