A total of 415 employers participated in the survey, including centrally administered enterprises, provincial, municipal, and district-owned enterprises, private enterprises, foreign and joint-venture enterprises, and research institutes, covering many industries such as electronic information, automobile manufacturing, mechanical equipment, biomedicine, construction and real estate, food and beverages, new energy and new materials, finance and insurance, education and research, and infrastructure.
The survey data results show that Shenyang's demand for mid- and senior-level talent generally presents a pattern of "three mores and three fewer," namely more private enterprises and fewer state-owned enterprises; more emerging industries and fewer traditional industries; and more centrally administered and provincial-level enterprises and fewer municipal and county-level enterprises. On the other hand, the professional structure of talent is not very reasonable, high-tech R&D talent is in short supply, and mid- and senior-level talent in fields such as construction machinery, the information industry, and biomedicine is relatively insufficient.
