The general contracting for the construction of Phase I is open for public bidding. A relevant person in charge of Hunan Changsha Convention and Exhibition Center Investment Co., Ltd. revealed that Phase I will start construction within this year. The general contracting period is 20 months, i.e., 610 calendar days, of which the construction period for the North Registration Hall is 18 months.
　　 The person in charge introduced that the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center mainly includes 12 exhibition halls, 2 registration halls, and 2 basements, with a total construction area of about 433,000 square meters, of which the above-ground construction area is 301,000 square meters, the indoor exhibition area is 178,000 square meters, and the outdoor exhibition area is 85,000 square meters. The structure type is steel structure. The total project investment estimate is 5.78 billion yuan, and it is planned to be built in two phases.
