On July 31, two shootings occurred in Lanxi County, Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province, resulting in two deaths and one injury.

According to reports, the suspect, surnamed Yu, shot and killed victims Mao and Wang with a gun at his home in the Gongshang Residential Area of Lanxi County. He then drove Mao's Toyota to the Longsheng River bend in Bei'an Township, Lanxi County, where he shot and injured Li before fleeing.

“I heard the bullet hit his nose and caused a penetrating wound,” a staff member at the emergency center of Lanxi County People's Hospital told reporters at around 5:40 p.m. on July 31. Around 12:30 p.m., the center received a 110 call reporting an injured person, and then a male victim, Li, was brought in. After treatment at the hospital, the victim was transferred to a hospital in Harbin.

According to the reporter's understanding, the shooting may have been caused by a debt dispute. It is reported that the suspect, surnamed Yu, is a local real estate developer.

Reports disclosed that the suspect is named Yu Chunfu, male, 54 years old, a native of Lanxi County, Heilongjiang, residing in the Gongshang Residential Area of Lanxi Town, Lanxi County. On July 31, he shot and killed victims Mao and Wang at his home, then drove to Bei'an Township, Lanxi County, where he shot and injured Li before fleeing. He was wearing a white shirt, blue trousers, and flat sneakers when he fled. The police are making every effort to hunt him down.
