China Deep Foundation Engineering News: Recently, five XCMG XR360 rotary drilling rigs successively assisted the construction of the Xuzhou Third Ring West Road elevated expressway project, kicking off the full-scale construction of the elevated expressway's pile foundation works and signaling that Xuzhou's western district has entered a new track of rapid development.
　　The Third Ring West Road elevated expressway is an important component of Xuzhou's Third Ring elevated expressway system. Once completed, it will ease traffic in the central urban area and connect Gulou District and Quanshan District, which is of great significance for accelerating the rapid improvement of Xuzhou's regional economy. The geological structure of the West Third Ring is relatively hard, with limestone layers, making construction very difficult.
　　At present, two XCMG XR360 rotary drilling rigs are under construction and performing outstandingly, with a maximum drilling depth of 120 meters. The XR360 rotary drilling rig is the best-selling product of the Foundation Company. It adopts a dedicated hydraulic telescopic crawler chassis and features super-strong stability. The front-mounted single-row rope main winch structure greatly extends the service life of the steel wire rope, and multiple drill pipe configurations can meet the construction needs of large-diameter, deep-hole, and hard-stratum conditions.
