Recently, the 47th Algeria International Fair (Foire Internationale d’Alger, FIA for short) grandly opened at the Algiers International Conference Center. The Concrete Machinery Company of Zoomlion showcased multiple products at the exhibition, attracting a large number of overseas customers.

  The Algeria International Fair was founded in 1963 by the Algerian National Company for Fairs and Exports (SAFEX) and is held annually. It has long been known as the "Canton Fair" of North Africa, and the Concrete Machinery Company of Zoomlion has participated for seven consecutive years. This year, the FIA exhibition featured exhibitors from 37 countries and more than 1,000 enterprises, including 17 Chinese construction machinery enterprises represented by Zoomlion.

  As a leading enterprise in China's construction machinery manufacturing industry, Zoomlion entered the North African market in 2007. With high-quality products and efficient after-sales service, it quickly won the "hearts" of local customers and became a high-tech equipment R&D and manufacturing enterprise favored by key infrastructure constructors in North Africa, including construction and energy engineering projects. At this exhibition, in order to better respond to market demand, the Concrete Machinery Company exhibited three types of concrete machinery, including a 38-meter boom concrete pump truck on a Mercedes-Benz chassis, a 9-cubic-meter concrete mixer truck on a Shacman chassis, and a concrete trailer pump. All three types of concrete machinery are popular products in the local market, and many customers made inquiries at the exhibition.

  At present, housing projects under construction in Algeria are mainly 6 to 8 stories high. Since the Zoomlion dealer also acts as an agent for Shacman heavy trucks, it offers many chassis matching options and has strong company strength, making it highly favored by local customers. The three types of concrete machinery exhibited this time were designed entirely to meet the needs of the Algerian market in terms of technical performance and product appearance. While demonstrating Zoomlion's world-class technical strength, they also reflect the company's emphasis on customers in the Algerian market.

　　 In 2009, the Algerian government proposed the goals of "building 1 million subsidized housing units within five years" and "giving the people a brand-new Algeria within ten years." Most local construction companies now have many construction projects and require large amounts of engineering machinery and equipment, and the market prospects are promising. During the exhibition, the Zoomlion booth received more than 100 customer visits, held more than 60 negotiations with local customers and more than 10 business negotiations with Chinese-funded enterprises, and successfully signed some procurement contracts during the exhibition.

  In order to better serve Algerian customers and strictly implement the company's strategy that "localization is internationalization, and internationalization should be promoted through localization," Liu Jie, regional manager for Algeria of the Concrete Machinery Company, said at the exhibition: "This year, the Algeria region of Zoomlion's Concrete Machinery Company will further optimize various services for local customers, gradually build a trade platform system and a spare parts supply system, and improve the localized operation system. At the same time, it will accelerate the development of service outlets and the service engineer team, improve Zoomlion's overseas service capabilities and response speed, and strive to make the Algeria region of the Concrete Machinery Company a benchmark for Zoomlion's overseas regions."
