The 16th China (Guangzhou) International Building Decoration Fair, hailed as "Asia's No.1 Building Materials Exhibition," grandly opened from July 8 to 11 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. Committed to building a large-scale building decoration exhibition that combines "comprehensive and professional" features, the Guangzhou Construction Expo covers almost every aspect of interior building decoration—the fair's greatest distinguishing feature compared with similar domestic exhibitions. This year's exhibition covers an area of more than 340,000 m² and hosts over 2,200 exhibitors.
In recent years, the home furnishing industry has been steadily moving toward integration, customization and cross-sector development. Many brand enterprises have extended their industrial chains and expanded into customized and cross-sector operations amid market competition. Keeping its finger on the pulse of market trends and actively responding to the industry's development needs, the Guangzhou Construction Expo has continuously advanced the planning of exhibition areas themed "customization" and "cross-sector trends," making it the industry exhibition platform best suited to the "whole-home" trend of cross-sector development and customized operations. In addition, the Expo will launch a major "Solid Wood Home Furnishing Exhibition Area," which together with the Integrated Home Furnishing Exhibition Area will showcase the style of the "whole-home, pan-wood industry" era.
 
This year's Expo will also focus closely on industry hot topics such as "integration," "customization," "fashion design" and "industry culture," and launch a rich variety of industry events. For example, it will once again join hands with the China Furniture & Decoration Chamber of Commerce to hold the 6th Kitchen Cabinet Festival; against the major trend of home furnishing Internet development, it will create a grand feast of home furnishing e-commerce and trustworthy home furnishing enterprises under the theme "Winning in E-commerce"; and together with the China Building Decoration Association, it will present an exhibition of outstanding design works, jointly reviewing and sharing the extraordinary charm of outstanding designs from past years.
