Jiujiang No.2 Construction Engineering Company is a construction enterprise with Grade II general contracting qualifications for building construction and Grade II general contracting qualifications for municipal public works, with registered capital of 22 million yuan.
　　Founded in 1964, the company currently has 1,380 on-the-job employees, including 214 engineering technical and economic management personnel. In 1999, 2000 and 2001, it won the title of Advanced Construction Enterprise of Jiangxi Province for three consecutive years; in December 2000 it successfully passed ISO9002 quality system certification; and in March 2002 it was recognized as a AA-level enterprise of Jiujiang Municipality that honors contracts and keeps promises.
　　After four decades of development, the company has grown into a medium-sized construction enterprise with strong technical strength, complete construction equipment and an annual output value of more than 80 million yuan. It independently undertakes residential building projects of up to 28 storeys and single-span spans of 36 meters or less; structures up to 120 meters in height; residential communities or building groups with a floor area of 120,000 square meters or less; and a series of projects within the scope of Grade II general contracting qualifications for municipal public works.

Municipal facility projects include: the gates, walls and square projects of Gantang Park and Baishuihu Park, the Shili South Avenue, the culvert pipe project of the Two Lakes Treatment, the Changhong Avenue reconstruction project, etc. Among them, the facility construction of Gantang Park and Baishuihu Park has respectively become two highlights of Jiujiang's urban construction.
