据英国《每日邮报》6月27日报道，以色列将于明年建成磁悬浮“空中汽车”，以解决城市拥堵问题。
一条长500米的高架轨道已经在以色列航空工业公司园区投入建设，商业网络也将同时跟进，向以色列首都特拉维夫延伸。虽然单轨可能看起来像一个复古的创作，已经在很多领域被应用的磁悬浮技术将再次派上用场，但这个未来的空中汽车将使用最先进的技术，将可容纳两个人的吊舱悬挂在磁道。
整个系统由电脑控制，未来可以实现智能手机订票，将为人类提供快速、安全、便捷经济的新出行方式。该系统速度可达70km/h。如果能够成功实现商用，速度将提升到240km/h，票价预计5美元(32元)。
这项发明将为解决城市拥堵问题提供新思路。
